My garden looks like a weed paradise, with a few plants struggling to poke up their heads amid the chaos. That must mean that it’s time to be home for a little while.
We spent two lovely days in Grayton Beach, FL after shooting a beach-side wedding in Destin. We had a wonderful time with the family (Thanks Jan, Jeff, Jami, Taylor, Adam and Maria!) – they were kind enough to have us stay with them at the resort, which allowed for a lovely afternoon at the pool when the wedding was over.
Our rental car was unfortunately given away when we arrived last Thursday, so the rental guy twisted our arm and rented us a….convertible. Yup. Silver Eclipse Spyder – crazy! That was definitely a special treat for the week. Andy looked pretty cute driving that car
However, we decided we’d probably never own a car like this, since it was impractical in pretty much every way possible. Perfect for a Florida vacation week, though.

I meant to write last week with a movie recommendation. Last Wednesday (in our 48 hours at home) we watched the movie Bella. This movie undoubtedly wins my BEST MOVIE OF THE PAST TEN YEARS AWARD. Not joking. It is artfully, masterfully done, thought provoking, meaningful, interesting, beautiful, inspiring, rich, deep….you catch my drift. I’m not often a movie fan, but this one gets my full support. Rent it and let me know what you think.
Well, I should enjoy the fact that I’m home now. Dishes and laundry can wait until tomorrow. Good night.
What a sweet ride! Have fun with the weeds ;0).
